7:00 p.m. Call to Order

Moved by Lars; 2^nd Captain.

Reports of Officers, and Committees:

1.      Trail Building

2.    DHPT Hats and Visors: Cost is $15/hat or visor.  $500 sponsors get 3 hats; $300 sponsors get 2 hats; $150 Sponsors get one hat. Jusy at Park and Rec has the list.

3.    Trail Closures – Move to Table  by Deke.

Unfinished Business

1.    Heavy duty “Pop-Up Tent” for events with our DHPT Logo on it.

            WAIT on purchase due to low funds.

2.    Pugsley Worlds – date??? Jeff Friedhoff will provide $500 prize $. KJ will do an additional $100.

3.    Logo – some discussion here. Lars will revisit later.

4.    IMT Point Series– General decision to not seek out the organizers.  Maybe participate if asked.

5.    Snow Blower – more discussion. Nothing decided.

New Business

1.    Beginner Trails – A definitive “YES!” Many good ideas for creating more beginner trails.  First Place is a small loop on the River Trail.  Other ideas include the floodplain areas inside the Levee. More discussion needed here.

2.    Iowa Bike Coalition Meeting Jan. 26, 2013 – There are people interested in attending to represent DHPT. Benji and Ward are looking into it again.

3.    Tombstone marker ?  Answer is “YES” “Make it Fun.”

4.    Other Items

            Need to update Blog and Old DHPT Logo

            Need a better updated e-mail list.

            Lars will talk with Spinner about the Blog site and how to maintain and manage it going forward.

2013  Decorah Time Trials will be held the Last SATURDAY in APRIL (NOT SUNDAY) Start Race at 2:00 p.m. Done at 6:00 p.m. on SATURDAY APRIL 27, 2013.  Sunday will be a fun club ride day for anyone staying over after Saturday’s race.
