7:00 p.m. Call to Order

Roll Call: Kirk Johnson, Pete Blodgett, Jesse Reyerson, Lee Hackman, Russ Drenth, Lars Hovden, Jeff Freidhof, Ward Budweg, Jeremy Burkhart.

Treasurer’s Report

$2,756.82in Judy’s Park and Rec DHPT Account

$635.03 in the checkbook 

Minutes from the Last Meeting – Motion Lars; second Jeff; approved.

Reports of Officers, and Committees

1.    Sponsor Hat distribution – Klocke’s still need to get there hats

2.    Trail Clarity and Signage – nothing new, some discussion on how to improve the signage, particularly for walkers.

3.     Iowa Bike Coalition Meeting – Benji was not able to be here.

Unfinished Business

1.     2013 Pugsley Worlds – Saturday Feb. 23^rd, 2013.

Spinner will be here to give us a run down on where we are at for Saturday’s event.  Volunteers will be needed.  WE WILL MEET AT T-BOCKS on FRIDAY NIGHT at 8:00 P.M. for a PRE-RACE VOLUNTEERS MEETING.  We’ll need vols to be stationed at Randy’s Bluffton Store (halfway point) and a few driving the course.  Moffit and Lunz will ride the Fat Tandem to SWEEP the course.

Prizes for awards will be:

Mens

$500 first place

$250 second place

$100 third place

Womens

$100 First Place

$50 Second Place

No age categories.

2.     Update Blog appearance. – Jesse has reworked the logos and page pics. Need to make Lars a manager for the blog.

3.     Updated e-mail list – nothing here

4.     Downtown bicycle parking-City Council – nothing here

5.     Map Holders on kiosks -

New Business

1.    Officers for 2013  - Re-elected Pete as Pres.; Captain as Vice Pres. And Kirk as Sec./Treas.

2.    Trail Manager for 2013 – Offer the job to Jim Tripp if he wants to continue.  Everyone is happy with the work he does. Revisit next month if he declines.

3.    IMBA Dues for 2013 – Unanimous vote to pay them $50 for 2013.

4.    Fundraising/Sponsorships for 2013 – Ask last year’s committee to do the same for 2013!  They did a great job last year.

5.    Other Items: Check into adding new logos for new sponsors on the DHPT Trailer Wrap.

Start Race at 2:00 p.m. Done by 6:00 p.m.  Sunday will be a fun club ride day for anyone staying over after Saturday’s race.
